Happy New Year!

Its officially 2014!!

I hope you all had a great new years eve! :D I am still in hospital so had a little celebration on my own, with bags of wotists and the telly box lol i done facetime with my family at midnight though, so at least i got too see them :)

I have now been moved to a different ward, the ward im usually on , Baron in bed 28.. i feel much more comfy here as i know all the nurses, they are all so lovely and can not be any nicer.  I had results back from my xray i had the other day and they said it looks alot better, they treated me for rejection last weekend as they werent sure if it was infection or rejection as they didnt do a bronc just an xray. But they are happy its getting better and my oxygen levels are back to normal as they did slip to 86% for a little while, but they are back to 96-97% and im doing lots of walking and have just started exercise on the bike, which i am loving at the mo, so much so that i have brought lots of gym clothes and my first pair of real trainers!! hehe. I cant wait to get home and start working out :)

I done my lungfucntion for the first time a few days ago, and i have to say i was pretty upset. It was only 15%!!! i almost cried, but they said as im still sore and i will have to find a new way to do it, it will be low for a little while, so im doing lots more exercise and walking to help get it up and in a few days iv gone from 15% to 25% so hopefully this will continue to work its way up :)  I still have an infection so that properly is helping too.

No sign of home yet, but im not to fussed, i wanna just take my time and recover slowly and make sure im going to be 100% for when im home :)

Hope you all have a wonderful year!! And if you haven't already maybe you could start the new year by signing up to be a donor?!  just click here :)

  1. congrats on your lungs. don't worry bout lung function being low, im sure that just down to them and your body getting used to each other. It a muscle that hasn't been used to full potential in a while and just need time to tune up again. :)
